UniVie Therapy Solutions is excited to partner with Calvary to offer low-cost speech screenings administered by licensed Speech Therapists!

Screenings will take place at Calvary on Tuesday, May 12th (Jefferson Location) and Tuesday, May 19th (Hazel Dell Location) at 9:30am for ages 2-7 years.

Why Screenings Matter

Early identification of speech, language or literacy concerns can have a significant impact on a child’s development. Screenings are a way to see if your child may benefit from:

  • Speech support (how well your child is understood)

  • Language support (understanding and using words and sentences)

  • Foundational literacy support (phonological awareness and phonics)

  • Screenings are hosted by Calvary and conducted in a quiet classroom during the regular school day. Staff assist us with transitioning children from their classroom to the screening room.

  • Parents are welcome, but not required to be present on the day of the screening. Results will be shared privately via our HIPAA compliant electronic medical record platform.

  • A licensed and certified speech-language pathologist from UniVie Therapy Solutions.

  • You’ll receive a short summary and recommendations via our HIPAA compliant electronic medial record platform.

  • The cost of a summer speech screening is $25.

    Families will complete a credit card authorization through our secure EMR/patient portal prior to the screening. Your card will be charged on the day of your child’s screening.
