UniVie Therapy Solutions is excited to partner with Kardinal Kids to offer low-cost speech screenings by licensed Speech Therapists!

Screenings will take place at Kardinal Kids Day Care on Monday, July 7th, beginning at 9:30am for ages 2-6 years.

Why Screenings Matter

Early identification of speech and language concerns can make a significant impact on a child’s development. Screenings are a way to see if your child may benefit from further support in areas like:

  • Speech (how well your child is understood)

  • Language (processing and expressing themselves)

  • Screenings are hosted by Kardinal Kids and conducted in a quiet room. A Kardinal Kids staff member will be present and assist with transitioning children from their classroom to the screening area.

  • Caregivers are not required to be present on the day of the screening. Results will be shared privately via our HIPAA compliant electronic medical record platform.

  • A licensed and certified speech-language pathologist from UniVie Therapy Solutions.

  • You’ll receive a screening summary and recommendations via our HIPAA compliant electronic medial record platform. You will be given the option to schedule a follow-up call at that time.

  • The cost of a summer speech screening is $25.

    Families will complete a credit card authorization through our secure EMR/patient portal prior to the screening. Your card will be charged on the day of your child’s screening.
